Identify areas that require improvement & compliance

Acorim recognises the importance of good corporate governance and understands that Boards are facing increased scrutiny by not only the shareholders of the Company, but also regulators, the media and other stakeholders.

Acorim will review your company’s previous Integrated Annual Reports, your company’s current Integrated Annual Report, the Charters of the Board and each of its Committees, the 2018 King IV Gap Analysis Report, and any other relevant internal policies. The review will determine the current corporate governance status of your company in respect of the King Code and relevant JSE Listings Requirements.

Acorim will analyse your company’s current corporate governance status in comparison with each of the 16 King IV principles applicable to it in order to identify any areas which may require re-alignment.

The areas which will be considered include, but are not limited to:

  • Disclosures
  • Board and Committee compositions
  • Risk governance
  • IT governance
  • Remuneration governance
  • Combined assurance
  • Recommended policies
